Shri Anagha Datta Peedam

The Shri Anagha Datta Peedam was born out the need for accountability to morally and legally manage the activities of the Ashram. As the scope and popularity of the Ashram activities expanded, it became essential to establish a formal entity to ensure transparency and accountability in managing the growing resources and funds. This led to the formation of the Shri Anaga Datta Peedam, which emerged as a natural response to the need for a structured and responsible governance of the Ashram activities and community.

The Shri Anagha Datta Peedam is not just a temple or ashram. It is an energy space that was created to support us all through happy and difficult times using the grace that flows from our Dattatreya Tradition as taught by our Guru Mohanji. This is not a single physical space, but encompasses any space consecrated through our practices. At the moment there are three spaces through which the grace of the tradition flows: The main headquarters based in Durban called Shri Anaga Datta Peedam Ashram South Africa, Pietermaritzburg center and Newcastle center.
