2024 Seva Highlights - Approximately 30,000 Meals Provided
2024 Anadaan 30,000 meals
In 2024, Shri Anagha Datta Peedam continued expanding its Seva footprint through sandwiches,
water support, food hampers, vegetarian meals and community feeding. These efforts supported
temple gatherings, vulnerable communities and families across KwaZulu-Natal.
Recorded activities:
20 January 2024: PMB devotees prepared over 70 sandwiches in honour of Thai Poosam Kavady.
28 January 2024: 240 bottles of water donated to Suryaville Temple in Newcastle for Kavady devotees.
5 April 2024: Healthy vegetarian stew served to Riet River, Waterloo and Overport communities.
7 April 2024: Food hamper drive spreading joy through practical support.
27 April 2024: Over 300 tubs of 500ml porridge served to the community.
2 June 2024: Over 400 meals of nutritious soya curry and rice served in Overport, Durban.
2023 Seva Highlights - Approximately 15,000 Meals Provided
2023 Food Hampers Meals Animal Feeding
In 2023, the Seva work grew across multiple communities including Reservoir Hills, Shallcross,
Overport, Pietermaritzburg, Newcastle, Phoenix, Northdale, Waterloo and Durban. Support included
grocery hampers, water, soup, pasta, sandwiches, breyani, porridge and animal feeding.

14 January 2023: Grocery hampers offered to a family in Reservoir Hills.
14 January 2023: Grocery hampers offered to the community of Shallcross.
28 January 2023: 500 litres of bottled water offered with love and gratitude.
29 January 2023: Soya chunks soup cooked and offered to the community.
23 February 2023: Pasta prepared by volunteers fed over 200 people.
25 February 2023: Over 400 sandwiches prepared and offered in honour of Mohanji's birthday.
25 February 2023: Groceries and supplies offered to Inqolobane: Home for Children with Physical Challenges.
30 March 2023: Food hamper seva drive spreading joy through practical support.
7 May 2023: Over 150 meals prepared and offered in Overport, Durban.
13 May 2023: Over 350 meals prepared and offered in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.
3 June 2023: 175 meals of breyani and salad offered to the community of Shallcross.
16 June 2023: Youth Day Seva: over 360 meals prepared and offered to communities in Durban.
1 July 2023: Over 400 meals of hot sweet porridge offered in honour of Guru Purnima.
2 July 2023: Newcastle devotees fed 19 cows at Shankar Gaushala in honour of Guru Purnima.
15 July 2023: 100kg of breyani offered to the Whetstone community in Phoenix.
1 October 2023: Over 450 meals of breyani served to communities in Waterloo and Overport.
8 October 2023: Pitru Paksh Anadaan: food hampers offered to families in Northdale.
12 November 2023: Diwali seva: sandwiches prepared and 30 people fed in Overport, Durban.
26 November 2023: Over 400 sandwiches served in honour of Shri Sathya Sai Baba.

In 2022, Shri Anagha Datta Peedam provided approximately 4,000 meals to different communities.

13 December 2022: Offering food seva of veggie pasta to the community.
4 December 2022: Datta Jayanti seva and devotional community support.
Youth Day Seva, 16 June 2020: 260 meals and 130 food hampers were distributed.
